What is KINDRED?

Kidney Information Network for Disease Research and Education

Kindred is a research study by the doctors and researchers of the Kidney Research Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). This research study is done remotely to accommodate subjects from across the United States of America.  You do not need to come to MGH in order to participate.

Who Can Participate?

We are currently looking for males ages 18 to 65 who are currently on dialysis. One condition that we will be screening for, Fabry disease, is more prevalent in males.

How the Process Works

TOGETHER, WE ARE STRONGER!

If you are currently receiving dialysis, you can join the fight and help us make a difference. With your help, we can develop better ways to prevent, detect, and treat kidney disease. KINDRED is focused on better understanding kidney disease.
For this study, we are looking for blood samples from people who are currently on dialysis. If you choose to participate in this study, we will send you $10 as a thank you upon completion. Together, we can change what we know about kidneys and kidney disease!

We look forward to fighting kidney disease with you!
